Hi folks, I migrated from Twitter to Threads when it launched looking for an alternative, but all my favourite games industry/podcast folks moved here, so here I am! I'm Lewis, my favourite series' are Zelda, Mario, Persona, Xenoblade, Pokémon, Yakuza, Tales of, DDR and tons of others!
Loved Bit. Trip ever since I bought Bit.Trip Runner on a whim on the Wii Shopping Channel. Thanks to Limited Run Games, Commander Video gets another spin in another console!

After finishing Pokémon Legends Arceus, I'm going back a little further. I bought Collection of Mana at launch and enjoyed playing through Final Fantasy Adventure. But I didn't start Secret of Mana. It's been one of those games I've been meaning to play for years. Here goes!

It might not have a big Switch 2 upgrade, but I've picked up Pokémon Legends Arceus again, as it's the only Pokémon Game I've started and never beaten. I want to right that wrong before Legends ZA releases later in the year. I'll probably play a few more backlog Switch games in the coming months.

I've 100% completed all Grand Prix and Knockout Tour now. 3* gold on everything, including mirror mode. Some of the knockout tours were pretty brutal as you need to be first through every gate, but it was fun! I'll do Time Trial next I think, and start learning shortcuts from the best 😁

I've got the Great ? Block Ruins shortcut down now after a bit of practice. I imagine these are going to get really fun and technical. Looking forward to trying more!

That's 3* Gold on all 150cc Mario Kart World Grand Prix and Knockout Tour cups, and all character outfits unlocked! Just got the RNG unlocks left, and all of the free roam missions and collectables. Having a blast with this so far, multiplayer with friends has been so chaotic 😄

That's 3* Gold on all 150cc Mario Kart World Grand Prix and Knockout Tour cups, and all character outfits unlocked! Just got the RNG unlocks left, and all of the free roam missions and collectables. Having a blast with this so far, multiplayer with friends has been so chaotic 😄
Rolled credits on Mario Kart World after finishing Grand Prix mode. The new tracks are pretty fun, and the music is outstanding, I won't spoil it, but there were a few surprise remixes of classic games that I was very happy to hear. Hope you're all having fun with it!

Nintendo Switch 2 Get! Super excited for this launch. First impressions: The Pro Controller 2 feels fantastic and the magnetic joycon snap feels solid. Currently doing a data transfer than it's Mario Kart time! Happy Switch 2 day, everyone!

Xenoblade Chronicles X done! I still prefer the way XC1-3 tell a story, but XCX is pretty special in its own way, and I had a lot of fun exploring the incredibly vast world, which is still impressive in 2025. MonolithSoft are absolute wizards and I can't wait to see what they achieve on Switch 2.

I'm 15 hours and 17 in-game days into Blue Prince and it's now utterly gripping. I can't share screenshots or specifics, but every day I'm making progress, understanding new branches and seeing another part of the bigger picture unfold. I totally get it now, and can't wait to play more tomorrow!

I've just got the Flight Module in Xenoblade Chronicles X and holy crap. The way the world opens up to you is incredible. It was already fantastic to explore but it just got 10x better. Time to install every probe and fully unlock every continent!

Xenoblade Chronicles X update: 56 hours in, chapter 9. Still having a blast. Only reached chapter 8 on Wii U so this is now all new to me. Exploring with my Skell feels incredible. MonolithSoft crafted an incredible world (again) I'm told I'm close to finding the flight module which I'm excited for!

Not much new news. But MK World is still my most anticipated game. I feel like the (understandable) disappointment at the price has tipped into a negative momentum spiral, and there's a bit of a negativity discourse bandwagon. But I'm just hyped for launch. The open world looks absolutely fantastic.
