Colombo for SI
@colombo4si.bsky.social
SI’s working-class is facing a growing number of challenges that we no longer have the luxury to watch happen to us, we need to face them head on with bold ideas and bolder actions, not disengagement and disinterest.

That’s why I entered this race, not just to run for something, but to run for SI.

As BP, I will explore every avenue to improve these conditions and bring affordable, accessible care back to SI

As Borough President, our Borough Hall will be one that leads, not one that simply reacts. That’s how the working class of Staten Island operates, and that’s the type of Borough President they deserve.

Good luck! Thank you for raising money for such an important cause! I’ve lost many family members to cancer, so working towards a cure is a cause that’s very close my heart.

As Borough President I will fight every day to make this a reality for every family on Staten Island.

If you can, make a donation today and help us keep the momentum going!!

Leaders who don’t just show up for the cameras but who show up for you, day in and day out, fighting to make sure Staten Island isn’t just a place we come from, but a place where we can stay, raise our families, and achieve the American Dream.

The cost of housing, transportation, and everything in between has made homeownership and true economic security feel unattainable to middle class families like mine. Staten Island is desperate for leaders who know what it’s like to struggle, to work hard, to build something.

I am honored to have received the endorsement of the Staten Island Democratic Party in my run for Staten Island Borough President. Staten Island, New York City and frankly this entire Country is desperate for leaders who truly understand what they are going through.
February 14, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Secondly, with this endorsement, it is clear that the Staten Island Democratic Party is committed to fighting for a new generation of working-class leadership and representation here on Staten Island.

First, it lets us consolidate our resources, and get all hands on deck for the general election. With this endorsement, we'll get much-needed fundraising, volunteer, and petition support.

I don’t give a damn about party politics. Before anything else, I’m a Staten Islander. I care about my family, our neighborhoods and our future.

It’s time we got back to fighting for people, not parties.

Together, SI will be “The Forgotten Borough” no longer.

My plan for a new generation of working class leadership will be one that listens to stakeholders about the issues they face, works with them to find solutions and holds individuals and organizations accountable with a results based approach.

While the conversations struck many different chords, one common theme was the lack of local government leadership, one of the central issues of my campaign.

It was a great opportunity to have important conversations with the people who live, work and care about not only Stapleton, but what a revitalized Bay Street means for Staten Island as a whole.

As Borough President, I will take the fight for all Staten Islanders and their right to a fair and effective public transportation system wherever I need to, from Borough Hall to Albany to Washington, DC.

While these steps are necessary in the short term, the long-term burden remains on the MTA to use any avenue of funding it receives to ensure Staten Island gets the level of service we have been paying for but never received.
