The BEST part of this exchange:

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung recently suggested, in a lighthearted manner during his first White House meeting since taking office, that Donald Trump could build a Trump Tower in Pyongyang, North Korea, and even joked about playing golf there with Kim Jong Un

Thirty to sixty years from now, the G.O.Paedos will allow your grandchildren to “retire” on 100s of thousands of dollars.

My guess: plan is to backdoor all our asses.

Phoning a nearby hotel (The Drake, I think) and appealing to the Concierge, I succeeded in arranging for them to make their gym available and, when I added we had no way of getting him there, they sent a car.

Thank you. I haven’t thought of it in years and relish the chance to share the story.(2/2)

Working as a bellman at an Orlando Radisson, I met Vida Blue. He was staying there and hoped to use the hotel’s gym in the attached aquatic facility which was closed at that hour. After invading the Aquatic Center and finding a person in authority present, my inquiry was rebuffed. I was livid. (1/2)

"A consortium led by Saudi utilities giant ACWA Power is to invest $8.3bn to build 15 gigawatts of solar and wind farms in the kingdom as it accelerates its push into renewables."

When "drill, baby, drill" isn't good for the Saudis what are WE doing?

Your example is ideal. Trump clearly violated his oath and the law by not giving Congress the required notice of his intent to impound. Politics won out. Current more far-reaching actions are worse yet. Risking a precedent that turns Congressional supremacy (established in 1787) on its head. RIP USA

Regrettably, under present circumstances, impeachment is toothless. Without the least chance of removal from office, its pointless.

Musk is surely an ignorant ass, he cries ‘impeach” when he means “remove.” He is also not the only one, nor the most accomplished, actively euthanizing the Republic.

This is illegal wage theft under state/federal law, which UBER practices globally. Suppose, as an “independent contractor” a driver doesn’t care to drive to the riders’ destination?

In Orlando, UBER keeps half of those net fares, paying drivers below their costs of operations.

Use LYFT. Fuck UBER.

A “person” is smart, #Republicants are stoopid.

(Breaking the pattern by shooting for relevancy in my reply.)

This is no lady, its a #TurdReich bot in an overt attempt to saddle the victorious (twice) Chinese with the blame for the damage wrought on working families and the poors. Obvious #Republicant fuckery.

The most important thing to accept about the current administration is permanence. The Constitution is now only Article II (abridged).

What these animals put that poor woman through at the Presidential Palace today
makes that obvious.

The repatriation of DoD personnel from overseas is coming.

Stagflation = 0 cuts next year, rate increases more likely.

During the 1970s, the United States faced severe stagflation marked by high inflation and low economic growth. By the early 1980s, under Fed Chair Paul Volcker, rates peaked at around 20%.

Ahhh, memories.

I heard Judge Boasberg also drew the Signal chat case. Historically, the courts rely on the Executive for enforcing their orders. We all long for arrests, but trust an accomplished Federal Judge to handle this carefully. We are going to soon see if this will all devolve into violence or not.
