Donald Trump has signed an Executive Order declaring hidden variables to exist in quantum mechanics, devastating Democrat's agenda to maintain Einstein's postulate of local interaction.

Hey @lukelukeluke.bsky.social I took this pic of mushrooms ages ago but never tried to identify them. As the resident mushposter any help?

Half my brain: Men in 2035 will be buying neuralink chips for clout & better informational transfer, not knowing they're really getting attention-embedded ads they can't ignore.

Other half: Gen Z don't know terminal commands. Age of computation is dead. Men in 2035 will be buying sheep and wood.

The Irish voting system is one of the few in the world where you don’t have to vote tactically. If everyone lists their preferences, the government will truly reflect the nuanced desires of the population. Can’t think of another system that allows for nuanced and unsure preferences like that.

Trump: I’m going to raise taxes by 40%. Every time you spend money, new 40% tax.

Conservatives: we love this

Trump: unless you make the things in the least economically efficient way possible.

Free market conservatives: masterful gambit sir

Inside you there are two wolves. One is an academic who wants to promote their professional work, build a network, and stay connected with colleagues. The other is a chronically online millennial who wants to shitpost like it’s 2019.

RFK Jr seems insane but the FDA also seems insane (in the "they used to make hats with mercury" sense) so let's see which monkey wins this knifefight and gets to run the laboratory.

The only thing qubits do better then bits is condition matching (Grover) and period finding (Shor). This is because quantum physicists are picky and repetitive.

My favourite genre is mathematical physics papers from the 90's. 3 pages, 2 references, 1 revolutionary idea. Try that cowboy shit today and you'll be desk-rejected out to space.

The replication crisis is so funny to someone who writes and reads maths papers. What do you mean you have to do it again?
