In a rare anatomical event, his chin swallowed his upper lip. (I think that's the meanest thing I've ever written online. At least I'm funny.)

I just sent this gif to my brother a few days ago after I asked for his email and it's an AOL account

My dear father was a funeral director, a football coach, and of Irish heritage. He used to say he loved doing business with Greeks because they always paid in cash 😆

Very uplifting to hear these teens viewpoints - keep doing what you're doing!

Holy crow. I want to be hopeful that this will bring him down. It may take time, but it'll topple him. But then I see how far the ripples reach and I lose hope again.

I have a sort of fantasy - as his neurocognitive decline progresses one of these days he's going to forget the lies and tell the truth on camera. A girl can dream...

I was surprised last week when I had to create a new account at the Social Security website because the sign-in I've been using for about 10 years is no longer usable. I had to take a pic of my state-issued ID and then had to take a pic of myself.

As if it's easy to begin with. I got lucky - went out of work and applied for SSD Aug 2014; first payment Aug 2017 after only one denial and appeal. Most people have more than one denial/appeal. It's almost like a game of chicken for them.

I am prepared to not receive my SNAP benefits on the 8th of November. Despite being directly and negatively affected by the shutdown, I don't want the Dems to cave. Republicans are refusing to work through the issues. This isn't on Dems.

Yes, because I find it hard to believe he'd be okay with a hand or other visibly placed IV because of the bruising. If the bruising suddenly stops I'd bet he has a Mediport placed for easy IV and blood draw access.

I've lived with epilepsy all my life. A couple years ago (at 53 or 54) I did neurocognitive testing. It took 5 hours and was very detailed. I have 2 MS degrees, an IQ of 129 (when they did those in school) and still scored "average" 😆 no way he did the same testing and scored higher than I did.

I've lived with epilepsy almost all my life, 56 and diagnosed at 15. I was forced out of my research administration job at a state university because they wouldn't make schedule accommodations like WFH as needed. It took me 3 years to get approved for SSD. The ADA is woefully inadequate.

Kind of like how a bedroom can only be categorized as a bedroom with a closet and a window.
