I remembered seeing a post about food resources for KW somewhere on Bluesky. I couldn’t immediately recall where but thought, “Who would be kind enough to organize and share something like that?” I then jumped immediately to your page and…voila! I hope you know how incredible you are!

I’m glad she’s finally being recognized for her leadership on this. Side note: John Conly should send her a card with a lovely cake or something to apologize for attempting to publicly shout her down when she was right all along. He won’t, but he should.

I feel the same way about SickKids. June ‘20 with a not-yet-well-understood virus and no school mitigations recommended an unmasked, undistanced return with the unhelpful suggestion that maybe IC kids could go virtually.

Yep. For example, the CRA brought in new filing requirements for some trust accounts, then delayed the requirement for 1 year because they hadn’t rolled it out right. I called to clarify and was told I didn’t have to file. They decided later that I did and was fined >$1k in penalties and arrears

We do unfortunately still have medical bankruptcy in Canada, but at less than 1/3 of the U.S. rate.
