HI Nilam, how are you?
Where can I DM you? I guess you're not using Twitter much now?

@sophiemhistory.bsky.social hi Sophie, hope you're well.
Thanks for the Friday Murder Club newsletter earlier, will read later (shame I can't subscribe, but happy to read what I can).
Anyway, just wanted to make you aware (in case it's of interest) that there's a short piece in the back of... ctd

99p is an absolute steal for this!
It's a brilliant book that you just won't want to end.

It has everything you could ever want in a book; #Penguins, romance, science, sweeping landscapes, more penguins, mystery, heartbreak, boobies, cheating, exercise and even more penguins 🐧
Super-cheap penguins are offering you hours of heartwarming escapism.

Some suggestions for translations for your first book, perhaps?
I'd happily learn Serbian and re-read the book if you used this 😂 🍪

How to say "over in the blink of an eye" in different countries:

5. Before you can say biscuits (Serbia)
4. In the bite of a courgette (Syria)
3. Faster than a knife fight in a phone booth (US)
2. A meringue lasted longer at a school’s door (Cuba)
1. As quick as a poor person’s funeral (Costa Rica)

@sophiemhistory.bsky.social Hi Sophie, hope you're well.
Quick question, can you recommend any software to use to create a family tree? Something that will stretch our and reposition things as the tree gets wider?

Replace any word in a film or book with the word Biscuits.

"Biscuits are not the only fruit."

I love this.

If you've been thinking about writing a novel, it's never too late to do it.

Lots of published authors started their writing career later in life.

If you don't try, you'll never know if it's possible. Life is too short not to pursue our dreams.
