Was just wondering who your local stars were!

Yeah - gives it extra-doomy post-nuclear vibes.

Brilliant - love seeing ‘78 photos before everything went all Crazy Color too. Great that the band did the rounds and were a proper thing.

Think we should do our own version. We could call it 'Fingering'.

Here is Switch as Charlie Higson was known back then in The Old Woolpack which was the punk pub in Norwich in 1978. Top picture in the middle.

Yeah man! Just do your thing…

Yes, it’s interesting isn’t it? By no means just a list of refusenik heroes.

I know! For me, it’s the little hand gestures as he contemplates the lie of the land midway - and the tucking in of Sponge Bob Square Pants’ annoying legs!

Oh, that's a great weird one!

Yes - a proper 'see it to be it' scenario!

Of course!

I still prefer the non-takers of the baubles. Think they should switch the name to Order of British Excellence. Such a winnable name-change on so many levels. I'm all for a country recognising service to the people, but denuded of both royalty and certainly of empire for me!

Well, I'd like to add Clough and Ferguson, so more interested in their common class and sometime trade union background really, but also in their inter-relation and yes, of course, Scottishness and religion too.

Well said!

I think you’re right as well, but the depth added by Heysel and Hillsborough made it into something bigger.
