Inspectors General are confirmed by the Senate (representatives of the American people) and are non-partisan appointments. They often serve through different administrations. Their job is to ensure our tax dollars aren't abused or misused.

Really hard for me to give a damn about the complaints of ceding "the moral high ground" when this country just sold out democracy to a treasonous, unrepentant, convicted felon who will never serve a minute in jail for his crimes.
