I also have a beef against our crab apple tree which is too tall to pick from, but at least it’s only been problematic since mid-August. Making a freaking mess out there now but at least it gives us beautiful shade.

I’m moving tomorrow and just realized this is the last night I’ll spend in the house I’ve owned for 17 years. I’ve never lived anywhere even remotely that long! A lot happened here. The worst and the best. Glad I invested in this place, loved it so much, excited to be done with it.

Sadly they did not work and I said goodbye to her today 💔 It’s been a hard day at the end of a hard week. I’ll miss her forever but it was also definitely time and she had a long and adventure-filled life of love.

This 17-year old baby is having a really hard week. We’re going to the vet at lunch and I’m worried. I know her time is soon, I just don’t know when. Her quality of life isn’t great anymore.

Brazilian carrot cake absolutely does too!! Its usually made in one of those round Bundt pans. Here is one without the traditional chocolate topping.
