In your opinion what is the best way for Canada to stand up to trump’s tariffs? By putting retaliatory tariffs or try to negotiate with Trump to meet in the middle?

Trump has Putin’s playbook for sure. And to boot he told the American people what he was going to do. The world has become a more dangerous place to live - overnight.

Low cost housing is so needed in our day and age. I grew up in subsidized housing. My parents were working hard inside and outside the home to bring up children and because of the housing that was set to a % of income - it wasn’t fancy - but it was home and we felt secure.

You can’t blame the ultra-rich - they need more money to spend on material objects and of course you can’t have too many safaris. Such a waste of money that could do amazing things for the people of the world. More money than brains is my mom’s saying!!

I’m thankful that I’m on my way out… it’s my kids & grandkids that are stuck with this awful tyrant. He’s not going to leave without a fight. You know that.

I don’t think this is because of Trump coming to power. If Trump was pulling strings to solve wars and hostage situations he would wait until he took office. His ego would not allow these things to happen without being able to take credit for them and get a photo op to boot

Sorry you guys I’m heartbroken to say I’m numb about stories of random shootings of innocent everyday US citizens. As a Canadian, I don’t and never will understand your gun culture and I hope we (CAN) never go down the path of adopting that culture. Never PP for PM.
