The conference is organised by the Centre for Global Cooperation Research @unidue.bsky.social & its Fellow Group 'Sustainability and Democracy'. As a member of this group, @mattkranke.bsky.social is a co-organiser.

Tannistha Samanta explores why women are increasingly postponing marriage and #childbirth worldwide. She shows how the social expectations and roles associated with motherhood are still "entangled in cultural and moral judgments about what is considered good, desirable and appropriate."

The workshop was co-organised by @mattkranke.bsky.social and Tabea Waltenberg of the research group ‘Global #Sustainability Governance’. We warmly thank all participants for their insightful presentations and contributions, and look forward to continuing the annual workshop series next year.
