This was a fun episode! What about the floppy disk? I miss those rainbow packs of hard floppy disks that I could put Lisa Frank stickers on as a preteen.

Lol "this is a great!" feels like the type of thing my cat would think when I'm feeding her a tube of tuna.

Also the idea of "forcing meaning into automation" is interesting - I hadn't really considered that in some ways it's not just words we're automating, but meaning itself.

Right now I'm re-reading Art Spiegelman's Maus series - he made it free on the Internet Archive for anyone who wants to read it.

What seems to differentiate it for me is that I'm getting a lot of content in my feed from what seem to be regular people that just want to share, instead of a ton of influencer and marketing content. It's nice to see; I hope it finds a way to avoid the same trap as other platforms.
