I have never read a historical romance about the 18th c that had decent clothing. They routinely do costuming terribly. They especially love to push myths.

Every historical romance I’ve read has abysmal history and worse costumes.

Judaism is henotheistic. The Bible doesn’t really deny other gods exist, but we aren’t allowed to worship them. I learned this word a couple years ago. Very useful!
