Taking LIRR to a concert at Forest Hills tonight. Not sure if it makes the NJT riders feel any better, but they’re dealing with the same foggy/sun-impaired windows across the river, too.

I’m in Miami for a bachelorette and because my flight got in early, decided to take Brightline to West Palm to see my cousin.

Long story short, barely made the train so pics are minimal but wow. “Conductors” are more akin to flight attendants.

A cool experience, my selfie neighbor thought so too.

And then just discovered this in the “budget in brief.”

The same year the Murphy administration provides historic levels of state aid to an agency historically shortchanged, they add this line about “beginning to reduce its reliance on external funding.”
