I think this is (part of) why I am feeling sad. A heaviness on one of my favorite days of the year.

Genuinely astonished by how this hellish year is ending for me. Amazing birthday with the new hottie, finally seeing results @ the gym, after having to take a break for several months bc of the trauma & utter lack of functioning from the abusive baby daddy. Enjoying letting life surprise me 🥰☺️💕

10 year difference from the last time I wore my running skirt. I see some small differences and can’t wait to see more! 1st trail run yesterday was brutal 😩- but the scenery & company was 👌🏻

The kid’s elves came a few weeks early. I already put my (first) fake tree up in August- real tree will be in a few weeks. It’s already been a hard year. 😞🤷‍♀️

“Cold” + all day rain= trip to the used bookstore! Knocked out some #bannedbooks + classics. Still more to go but I did enough damage for one day!
