it was so fun and horrifying to watch her get worse chapter by chapter, like watching a car crash in slow motion i love this story

there’s enough hints that sartha’s more spirited than it seems even after all this time, like how she needed “extensive reconditioning” after being recovered from leukon

she’s still there, despite handler (and kione’s!) insistence

all she needed was for someone to treat her like a person

replying to this again cause each time i reread my thoughts from those first few posts i think “ough no i got it wrong and embarrassed myself”

anyway! i think what made part 4’s ending so heartbreaking was that /it didn’t have to be like this/, despite the characters’ beliefs that it was inevitable

but already even early on i’ve gotten really invested in these characters’ stories already, i love their dynamic so far and am excited to see where it goes ^-^

also on an unrelated note im still really early in the story but Vigil is too precious for this world, i am not prepared for the heartache and pain that’s most likely to come TwT (but it’s gonna be so fun to read!)

that’s so sick actually that you had sheets for them ! i’m planning on making starfinder sheets for the characters in my writing just cause as someone who plays a lot of ttrpgs it helps me conceptualize better what options a character has and how they’d act in different

but hey Work From Home (glorious name for a sniper mech btw) i picture totally different so that’s something ^-^

i’m sure the more i read it the more i’ll be able to flesh out what they /actually/ look like but i got really into lancer builds for a little bit so that’s at the forefront of my mind

Scandal’s described as being kind of asymmetrical due to its heavy weapon on one side and is litERALY CALLED OUT AS A “zheng-class” so at least that one’s not my fault for picturing as a zheng :3
