I think this is a reasonable principle, but is there sufficient evidence that heat pump costs are reducing in line with this aspiration? Agree there would need to be an alternative plan (and accept the warm homes plan has been developed over many months, so this is clearly panic)

Yeah, I suppose what I mean is if a product is available which utilises the gas boiler capacity intelligently for peaking, can be serviced at a reasonable cost by a single operative, and as a result, delivers significant cost savings to the end customer, then it could be useful (lots of ifs tho)

Quite sceptical about the payback when you consider you need to have essentially two heat sources (both of which need maintenance, repair and replacement) and you still have a gas service charge, then you also need a system with a control strategy to optimise the usage of each.

That's a convoluted way of saying she is being dishonest but for reasons you are sympathetic to? i.e. she doesn't feel she knows enough to get into an argument about why she instinctively doesn't support him rather than she would never comment on NYC mayor as she doesn't follow regional US Politics

Is your view genuinely that had she been asked about a successful 'centrist' Democrat candidate for New York mayor that she would have given basically the same answer?

He so accurately sought power but what does he actually want!? My response, which nobody asked for, to a book Morgan Mcsweeney didn't write.
