It's representing partial demasking. Loss of cooling is warming. Still I agree with the first point. Hausfath had uncertainties about the strength of the forcing calculated. Instead of just taking the 50th percentile. He could've also shown this graph assuming 25/75 or 10/90

While a model showed it could be as low as ~310K (www.aanda.org/articles/aa/...) I doubt that humanity is capable of 23.35K of global warming

Looking at the absolute value is virtually only useful in astrophysical context of runaway greenhouse transition. The GMST at which oceans boil away into space. Usually found at 320-330K in literature
