They've done this a lot, one I can think of seemingly targeting the distance to US visiting assets in Busan was July 2023 www.nknews.org/2023/07/nort...
North Korea fires ballistic missiles as US nuclear missile submarine visits ROK | NK News
North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) toward the East Sea (Sea of Japan) in a rare early morning launch on Wednesday, hours after South Korea announced a U.S. nuclear missile su...

JCS now says one SRBM flew 700km from Taegwan, Japan says "over" 450km. Taegwan to Busan port where the US aircraft carrier docked this week is ~665km. But still possible ROK distance is wrong and NK set the test up as a demo/protest with a distance suggestive of a capability to strike the carrier.

JCS came out with their first update an hour after the launch, sort of longer than usual, saying was 1 missile but still without IDing it and keeping the label "unidentified ballistic missile." May point to something novel or requiring deeper analysis, like involving HGV or MIRV.

I only mean to acknowledge that the pics aren't being uploaded, in whatever language you want, because I seriously thought someone forgot to add them when editing

This building was just built in recent months, door covered up (pic 2 on left). Looks like a revolutionary history museum, maybe to replace existing one (pic 3)

KCTV/KCNA displaying sensitivity, deliberately omitted views of the museum and other interiors (maybe too much Ukraine war stuff to blur)

Thanks! I think it would be great to include such details in the story!

Why is the imagery being held back? It's confusing to read about findings citing imagery but no mention of why it's not included in the story

Moving all families of dead soldiers into one place means 1) authorities will watch them and make sure they never publicly or privately complain about the war, and 2) that they will be surrounded by the tragedy, never able to move on from their loved ones dying in a secret war across the world

We reported earlier that their big ceremony last week was purposeful in highlighting 101 names of dead troops but also celebrated "heroic" suicides of 6 soldiers not on that list.

That Blue House mini replica was over the hills to the north, but they also built one right on these premises, noted below. Can't really tell if it's still there in today's photos bsky.app/profile/jaco...
I just noticed this building (constructed in 2022). Is it another Blue House replica sans the two wings? The main building has the same roof line and even the front portico. 1/3rd size. At an elite training complex south of Pyongyang. 38.899689° 125.943280°
