Another table finished!
This one is going in the customer service area of a Toyota / Lexus bodyshop. I tried to use as many bodyshop supplies as I could.
The emblems, the clear coat, the chains for legs are all from the bodyshop. Its even wrapped in 3M chip tape extra protection

Another table finished!
This one is going in the customer service area of a Toyota / Lexus bodyshop. I tried to use as many bodyshop supplies as I could.

I love it when I get to the stain portion of the project. That's when the project starts to take on some life. 2 coats of stain on the underside of this 7ft dining table. Time to let that dry and then flip it over to work on the top.

A little progress update. I did the corners a lil different on this one. Cut'em at a 45° and then routered the top and bottom with a 45° bevel. Branded the 4 corners and stained it with a dark walnut. Next it gets an automotive clear coat to finish it off. Fitting since its going in a collision shop

How it started vs how it's going. Still need to dig out some loose wood/dirt from the crevices before moving onto the next step, but the vision is starting to take shape. It was pretty darn heavy as 1 piece so it should be way more manageable now that its 2

What a crazy day at the Hayloft festival! The wife and I got to meet the cast of Shoresy, get some pictures and I even got to go backstage and get my jersey signed. Finally makes up for the Letterkenny show that got canceled on me during covid.

Recently picked up this 80" slab of hard maple for a dining table that's in the pipe. The client wants the wood to be stained dark (almost black but not pure black) with a smokey river of epoxy. Stay tuned the progress pics.

- Black epoxy base with a clear top.
- Straw bundle table legs
- Wood finished with Osmo poly X
- Epoxy wet sanded to 10,000 grit and polished
- Ceramic coating on the whole table for extra protection.

Almost wrapped this one up. One more coat of oil and then apply a layer of ceramic coating. Attach the legs and we are good for delivery.
