I can back this up I’ve skied this hill for many years and as we get deeper into the season every year it seems like there’s less snow down the mountain. Runs have to be shut off due to lack of snow or fake snow is used to keep the hill operating.

the wildfires in Kelowna, BC every year take atoll on the population, two years ago a buddy of Mine attending UBC Okanogan had to relocate and stall his soccer season because the fires prevented normal procedures.

Fan violence is common in sports. In September there was an incident after a game where two men cheating for the commanders beat up a giants fan outside the stadium post game. Security must become more relevant and needs a better role in protection during and post game.

Sports are a central part of life right now as I am a varsity athlete. However, in the future chances are sports will take a back burner as a career and family along with the individual challenges that come with those will take priority in life. Sports and activity will become more of a hobby.
