Lovely overhead layout of Cinderella's room in the tower! I love seeing animated set designs like this.

"Go baaaack!" A spooky, scary skeleton from the original #SnowWhite and Her Adventures attraction at Disneyland.

Most animation fans know about Dan Castellaneta taking over as the Genie in Aladdin, but do you know the other time he aped #RobinWilliams even more directly?

Concept art of Dopey warning us to "Beware of the Witch" in the original Snow White's Adventures ride, along with the actual scene. I prefer the piece where he's in the rafters holding a lantern. Great use of shadow. #SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs

Did you ever wonder what this horrifying creature from #AnAmericanTail is? The one we see for a few seconds munching on cockroaches? I always figured it was a pike of some sort, but according to the continuity script, it is a "sewer slug." Either way, classic #DonBluth horror.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: The "I need six eggs" line is part of a *different* conversation from the "too expensive" one. The man is referring to the price of a vase, not eggs. We can say plenty of bad things about Gaston, but causing a product scarcity is not one of them.

I didn't expect to see a Carl Barks reference in the #Aladdin series! Iago and Scrooge really are birds of a feather.

The early designs for #Aladdin had him look a little younger. "Friend Like Me" was the first sequence to be animated, and the early design can be glimpsed at a few points. However, certain shots of Al were *still* reanimed where his early design was even more noticeable.

I miss that time in the 70's and 80's where Brer Bear was just one of the gang with Mickey and the others.

Japanese cover art for #TheBraveLittleToaster book by Thomas M. Disch. Always interesting to see an interpretation of the original, non-animated characters!

Another rare image of #TheBlackCauldron dioramas seen at the Disney parks during the film's release.

Was I the only one who was *fascinated* by the old Gator Golf commercial? The creepy animatronic alligator guy, the elaborately detailed golf set that we only see for 5-10 seconds? I know it's just a toy ad, but I'm so curious about its production.

During the Console Wars, #TonyTheTiger played both sides. Brilliant strategic move!

Concept art for #MuppetTreasureIsland reveals that Boppity (AKA Blue Frackle) was originally meant to be in the pirate crew. This also might be one of the only time's we've ever seen his feet.

One of my favorite #BeautyAndTheBeast details is how even though most of the cursed castle is full of scary gargoyles, Belle's room is "guarded" by a pair of women statues who are clearly still humans.

There was so much thought put into this movie!

Very curious commercial for ABC's Saturday Morning cartoons, featuring some rarely-seen costumed characters: Slimer, (animated) Beetlejuice, and a Pup Named Scooby-Doo! #mascots

John Byrne worked as a layout artist on #AllDogsGoToHeaven and a storyboard artist on its sequel. Fittingly, his storyboards show a level of detail closer to the quality of the original film, rather than the simplified designs in the second one.

Live action reference photo for Gaston in #BeautyAndTheBeast. LeFou was unavailable, so his good friend Sugar Bear stood in for him.

(Before anyone asks, I fully believe Sugar Bear could beat Gaston in a fight.)
