Battle For The Planet of The Apes. It was the first of the series of films I ever saw. In those days the cinema would show double bills. The Poseidon Adventure was the main feature. I kept seeing Apes in my bedroom that night 😄 Loved those fims ever since

6. The Android Invasion
5. The Planet of Evil
4. The Seeds of Doom
3. Terror of the Zygons
2. Pyramids of Mars
1. The Brain of Morbius

Difficult choice as they're all great stories. Probably the most watched season of Doctor Who I've seen 😊

I watched them when they went out originally in the 70s. They still hold up pretty well. I rewatch the first 4 adventures but generally don't bother with the last two. Not all great, but still enjoyable 😊

How did your viewing of Sapphire and Steel go? Did you enjoy it? If so, any favourites?

I had the unexpected chance to see her in Cardiff. A friend couldn't make it so offered me the ticket. Absolutely fantastic performance

I watched these as they went out on tv back in the day. Love them. Shame the series was so short. But it uses simple visuals to enhance the stories. I generally go to favourite episodes when rewatching rather than the whole series.

I don't remember this one much, though I suspect I have seen it along with similar films of that era

It's definitely one of my favourites too. Lost count how many times I've seen it. Needs a revisit I think

No. No actor is the role was ever "bad." A lot of it comes down to the writing and how it's presented on screen. Bad stories, maybe, but not bad actors.

I'm currently halfway through Matt Smith's turn as the Doctor, and I was thinking on the same lines. We had 13 episodes with some incredible CGI, but the story always remained the focus. I think we had more for our money back then as well. If Disney do pull the plug, maybe it's a good thing (?)

I met her at a Doctor Who convention, must have been after the Two Doctors. My anxiety would get in the way from ever asking anyone for a photo op. Wish I had, though. But yes, a lovely soul inside and out 😊
