I don't know how to feel about your videos any more. I love them, because every single one is a perfectly eloquent expression of the rage we should all be feeling, but on the other hand each one leaves me a little more certain that we're utterly, utterly fucked.

In principal yes, but I strongly suspect I would get about 15 minutes into my first Question Time appearance before deciding I've had enough of this bollocks and embarking on the sort of rant that gets you blacklisted from the BBC but does excellent numbers on here.

From the teacher's perspective, the student who disagrees and wants to challenge things is equally valuable. They're the ones who stop you getting complacent, keep you asking your own questions and help create a space where everyone else feels able to ask questions too.

Red Alert - I remember playing the Soviet mission in the demo first and *loving* the noise that heavy tank made. Still my favourite game today by a distance.
Deus Ex comes in a close second here though. First game I played with that much freedom straight out of the gate. Yes, I'm old...

Oh yes. I explored pretty much every corner of Cyrodil before I got round to dealing with the gate to actual hell outside Kvatch, poor guards were waiting there for months while I was doing Dark Brotherhood stuff. It's a tale as old as time, and nearly as old as the teaser for TES6.

Baldur's Gate 2. I liked the story and the setting but couldn't get my head around how to balance my party or use each class effectively. Once I came back and moved away from "click stuff until it drops loot" I had way more fun. Elden Ring is next in line - had the bounce, building up to the return.

I used to go straight to the settings and mute the background music. I can't remember when/why I started leaving it playing but I got such a pleasant surprise when I replayed a bunch of old games recently, can't believe I skipped the soundtrack first time round.
