I remember the puffins on Lunga. They completely ignored us.

I've always written. I started to get published in the late 1980s, and I've had 13 books published since then. Poetry and short stories mainly. At 82, I'm slowing down.

Smoked mackerel, basmati rice, vegetable stock, onion, garlic, spices (turmeric, coriander, garam masala), chopped nuts (almonds, pistachio), raisins, garden peas, steamed eggs, spring onions and parsley added at the end. Quite rich, and very tasty.
