Lovely afternoon at the beach yesterday until some jerks decided a giant bonfire was a good idea. Ocean Beach should ban bonfires year round, instead of just during the winter.

This is the most insane comment! Essentially saying that they’d rather have more parking downtown than build housing that would help people like *his own children* afford to live where they want.
Next up is a man named Ross, I think, who says that his kids and his friends kids can't afford to live in Menlo Park, they live in Oakland and elsewhere, and "I'm okay with that. We have to be okay with that."
Says building more housing will destroy what makes the city special.

West side SF Nextdoor is next-level car brained. Here is a woman totally seriously suggesting pedestrians should wear reflective vests when asked whether drivers or pedestrians should be responsible for pedestrian safety.
