Boring middle aged dad and all around dude.
I would agree, but also point out that winning an election doesn’t qualify anyone to do anything important either, and since Democrats have issues winning elections I’d take electing an unqualified Democrat over an unqualified Republican being elected.

If whoever is running Newsome’s social media presence ran against him and won too, that would be also extremely great.

The fact that they keep pushing back retirement doesn’t help, if you blow out your back at 48, it’s a long time til whenever the rich people say poor people should be able to stop working is.

I feel like another reason that the trades isn’t the “the answer” to financial success is that, the trades are *really* hard on your body. The reason I went back to school was watching so many guys in their mid-fifties just not be able to do the job anymore because they were wrecked.

Kind of seems like an ad for taking a bunch of random pills out of a bowl at a party and washing them down with with some acid and absinthe and then sitting down to game with your hallucinations.

I went through a phase of trying to find out more about the revolution and even in my non-scholarly shallow dive into the subject it’s hard not to get turned off by the fact that there were so many slavers and religious whackos on the American side.

Used to live in Omaha, well Benson, but you would think I would have recognized it.

We fell off the subsidy cliff. We went from just under $1000 a month for a family of three for an average plan to a much worse plan for a family of three for just under $2200 a month.

This guy has started a project where he could have purchased himself a new cordless drill and *didnt* purchase himself a new cordless drill. That’s the real failure here.

So much knowledge lost when message boards moved to Facebook and discord.

Strong “That Seventies Show” kids in the basement stoned as ghosts having “deep conversations” vibe. It’s like you can hear him pause to take potato chips out of the bag and munch on them between thoughts.

We can easily turn the sentiment around. Trump says no other leader has been persecuted like him, maybe we should introduce him to the way the careers of Charles I or Louis XVI ended. He could save a lot on hair products and bronzer if we took just a bit off the top.

His facial expressions always make me think of when your cat sees the invisible ghost in the corner of the ceiling and starts freaking out for no visible reason.

Having spent the last 25 years in tech I always counsel those starting out. Soft skills, soft skills, soft skills. So goddamned important. *Maybe* god-like tech talent will force people to put up with you, but your career will always be stunted by the fact that nobody *wants to work with you.

This dude has never worked a day in his goddamned life.

Senators jobs are supposed to include “doing the right thing even when it’s hard” All these Democrats who can’t manage the fortitude to do that need to be primaried. I live in a red state the ACA subsidies expiring is going to be a massive healthcare crisis. Hospitals are already closing.
