For now let's put out there that I'm Irish, married and child free, working mostly on making AI do what we ask it to do and occasionally I take photos and make stuff (We are a 3 3D printer household)
Weird we're in one that's UK based on FB that's been very much level headed and about the benefits and also the pressures from family etc. Plus pets....there are a lot of pet pictures. In fact biggest friction is cats v dogs.

Every time I get these types of issues now I just think back to the cheap printers I once had and rebuilding / replacing parts every other print. And then I remember fixing an actual inkjet in the 90s where it turned out the issue was sultanas stuck in the rollers. It's all about progress.

Ended up writing a small app (that will likely never work again it was that janky) to do it, as was migrating into a custom LLM based notebook. Now when I clip I clip to my own project on my own server with my own chrome plugin. Scalable no, stable no, but educational in its own right yes.

It is just so strange when you realize it 'just works' and limited to no crashes. I moved 10 years ago though I did recently splash for a windows machine to play some games I cannot see how I'd ever go back willingly.

If someone could let me know how many before it works. I'm running out of storage space. And I can't give them away as they all have at least 1-2 pages of content (usually illegible)

Noone is stopping us from upgrading to USB c devices either and eradicating the problem. What I want is to someday open the box of headache tablets and not encounter the wrapped over instructions blocking quick access. Like USB it's theoretically a 50/50 but it's really not.
