And companies like Google and Meta have plenty of profits to subsidize their AI business for years and years. OpenAI's one saving grace is it's so well known. Anthropic etc are kinda screwed barring some massive breakthrough

How many of those are hate watchers

The next PM will be just as brutal as Netanyahu. You guys are living in a fantasy world about who zionists are.

Trump specifically talked about deporting all of the Haitians in Springfield on the Rogan podcast. Absurd for him to claim that he was betrayed.

The Iraq War was an absolute disaster in large part because the people in charge knew so little about Iraq and thus made terrible decisions that made a bad situation worse and worse. This is setting up for another disastrous war if people don't know basic facts about a country you seek war against

He's one of those guys I gave up on years ago. Before this piece started making the rounds, I'd completely forgotten about him.

In addition to getting rid of state senates, I wish at least one state would go to proportional representation for the state legislature. Not sure which state is most likely to take that up.

JD will start his own Church so he can hate whom he wants.

How long until Trump claims credit for the first American pope? End of day?

I gotta hope they stay elevated for another 4 weeks so I can get that sweet long term cap gains rate of 0%

The economy hasn't even gotten bad yet for Trump. When it does, his approval will break the lows of his first term

She'll probably come out in favor of repealing tariffs on all consumer goods that middle and working class people buy. But will wanna keep those on luxury items, eg cars valued above X amount, etc. Gonna be hard for her to be in favor of tax cuts like that.

100% intentional. We all live in political bubbles. Conservatives tend to believe that the vast majority of Americans love Trump. This to them is just smart business sense. Can't help but think that it's a part of their pitch for the next TV deal. "Sign with us and you get to be close to POTUS"

I'm worried apple will nuke their (very good) Appletv+ if the tariffs really hit their profitability and they need to cut costs.
April 10, 2025 at 4:33 PM
Do you mean politically conservative or business wise?
April 8, 2025 at 10:53 AM
So we'll tax American consumers in order to subsidize foreign consumers effectively?
April 7, 2025 at 10:28 PM
But then he still imposed 10% duties on countries we have surpluses with. There's nothing to negotiate
April 7, 2025 at 9:05 AM
This does make it easy for the Dems to start running ads ASAP on removing the tariffs as soon as their candidate gets sworn in. "Largest working/middle class tax cut in US history"
April 3, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Are these the total tariffs or are they just added onto everything so far? So steel from EU is at 45% etc?

Nor is the dream of conquering Kosovo dead within Serbia. They still very much want it all

Next on the slippery slope: using support for Palestine as grounds to deny citizenship applications. Shortly after, using it as grounds for revoking naturalization and then deportation, including children born in America.
March 28, 2025 at 8:34 AM
What's a historical comparison for a country losing long-term allies like this?
March 27, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Hamas is far more extreme because they actually fight against Israel. Which is the only actual measure of moderation these people care about. If Syria fights back at some point, they will be the worst terrorists ever. Isis on steroids

There's gotta be a Hegseth/Chag-Sameach joke there. The whole thing happened on the 14th and 15th.
