Of course they like Madison, he was a white supremacist and sexual predator just like all the current day GOP. He fathered a child with his slave cook who was actually his half sister due to previous slave rape by his father.

While it’s missing a flat head, I’ve found the Leatherman carabiner great as a keychain holder. A lot of generic keychain carabiners break or the spring wears out, but this one has held up for years and I like how thin and light it is.

The political discourse is once again rehashing the 2024 election. 2024 was an unprecedented time where every incumbent party in the world faced a public wanting change. Her campaign was good—better than most. I have many criticisms of Harris, but not sure anything different would have helped.

They may have also belatedly realized it was dumb to try to stage out of Coast Guard Island which only has one small access road that is easily protested.

1984 was peak year for robots! I’m also down with keeping the 1984 Robotix Argus (which I had as a kid)

Frilly Boy Masculinity is right there waiting for it's revival but this dude likely isn't man enough to take it on.

In 2020 when the pandemic hit, the top 1% saw their income rocket up as everyone else’s fell. My sense is that the wealthy think they figured out how to make money as everyone else suffers. As such, they no longer care about the masses. The AI job-apocalypse they are planning is part of this.

I love Electric Bastionland’s use of Luck rolls for exactly this purpose. When you don’t know how a thing should go just roll for it — 1 terrible!; 2-3 not great!; 4+ great! They have some great examples in the book.

Now rocking it to the weirdo electronic artist Spoonbill who I’ve know for ages but haven’t had a chance to see. Randomly saw they were playing tonight which is awesome!

Finally got around to print up photos from my powerlifting meet last year and hung them in my garage gym. Haven’t had as much time for regular training routine lately but I’m working to get back at it. Definitely motivating to see photos of myself rocking some heavy iron while I lift!

If I lived in NYC I’d vote for Zohran just for his logo. Damn that type combo and color palette is hot!

Same. Looking to offline important how to. It’s hard too since I’m so locked into everything digital. We recently got The Verlasting Cookbook by Tamar Adler is an excellent resource for “what the hell do I do with this vegetable/leftover/etc?” Get the spiral bound edition as it’s easier to use

If anyone wants a cookbook that is “what the hell do I do with stuff in my fridge” rather than a aspirational gourmand thing you’ll never use I highly recommend The Verlasting Meal cookbook by Tamar Adler. Get the spiral bound edition as it is easier to use in the kitchen.

It was. From 2019-2024, wage growth for lower class rose. Due to Covid checks, childcare tax credit, and enhanced unemployment, workers could ignore shitty jobs and had more power. Business hated this. Dems killed all the added benefits, but it wasn’t enough for the rich so the rich supported Trump
