Oh man, whenever the question of "what's the worst book to movie translation ever made" comes up, my answer is always Eragon. They absolutely butchered it to the point of practically killing the franchise.

Not to say that the OS can't make a difference, but if you're comparing to a years-old Windows install with who knows how many programs on it, it's not quite an apples to apples comparison.

Making Amascut a literal cat, just for the final quest, was certainly a choice though. Not one I would have made.
