They had a bipartison bill that didn't pass. Then lost the election. That is not a victory. They lost the messaging on day 1 when Republicans made an issue about Kamala never going to the border. Republicans never relented and ultimately won the election.

Democrats sealed their fate when they ceded the border and the economy to Trump and by propping up Biden. They need to figure out a way to get their claimed constituency to actually vote for them.
