Became interested in this album after hearing the big single off it (Paper Planes) and really digging the sound. Unfortunately aside from a couple other stand out tracks like Jimmy and Come Around the rest of the album was just kinda fine

and it made me feel a way I can't say I've felt before from listening to music. While the rest of the album is pretty solid as well, none of the tracks that follow it live up to it which was a bit disappointing. Still a great listen and I will def be checking out more stuff like it

Souvlaki - Slowdive
I've listened to a couple albums with elements from the genres in the past and liked what I heard, but this is the first full-on shoegaze/dream pop album I've listened to and I really enjoyed it! The opening track Alison just felt like a flood of warmness going over me (cont.)
