Yes, he's been trying to delay. In my experience, lawyers not used to EDVA are horrified by the rocket docket. He might think, incorrectly, he can slow it by begging for discovery. I remember thinking as I read the transcript of his first appearance, you're not in Kansas anymore, bucko.
