YES, Thank You! Amazon really arsed it up by not selling any WoT merchandise (or really promoting the show at all, come to that). I’d have LOVED an auction for show props and would likely have spent a not-very-sensible amount of money on WoT themed stuff.

Yeah wouldn’t it just! I actually quite enjoy RoP, but WoT was definitely the better of the two.

OMG what the hell is their PROBLEM?! The latest series was superb, and did really well both in reviews and viewing figures. Away to cancel Prime video, again. 🤬

Much as I love the books, the show has been better at depicting complex, interesting characters. (Pretty much all of them tbh but Liandrin stands out most for me). Siuan storyline is better in the show, and the series has cut some of the sillier book romances out, thankfully!

I’m another fan of Moiraines hat, and I feel like the good milliners of the world need to start selling it, somewhere. It’s a good sunhat!

To find out the perspective of people whose lives are very different from your own: the world would be very dull if everybody thought and did the same things. Not everybody is able to travel, but this is something most people can do quite easily.

I love the books as well as the show but much prefer TV Liandrin to book Liandrin. TV version is a much more complicated and interesting character, and her backstory being shown really adds a lot.

I think the photos in the news of the herd of police lined up outside a Tesla showroom recently sums up very concisely just how close to home she was with that!
Maybe not implemented irl the exact way she has written, but ‘pay to play’ definitely operating on some levels there.

Read both books a few months ago, god they are terrifying. Brilliant, but terrifying.

Overall, not my favourite of the books - too much politicking both in Team Camelyn and Team rebel Aes Sedai.
On the other hand: “Birgitte Trahelion is a silly bint” -genuine LOL.
Definitely dying to read the next one to find out WTF Tuon is actually up to though..
I still quite like Eaganin.
