FIFI is owned/operated by Commemorative Air Force (formerly Confederate Air Force) and Doc is owned/operated by Doc's Friends.

Both are active participants on the airshow circuit; Doc is based in Wichita i think and Fifi in Dallas

the B-36 is amazing to me because of its transitional nature...designed as a piston aircraft, it had jet engines added to it to deal with the heavier bombloads and changed combat scenarios of a nuclear war
