KRS is really the foremost that comes to mind. Then Golden Age acts who incorporated DJs (EBAR, Ultra, TC, GS, JJ&FP, BM), and to that extent later acts like Dilated. DJs in general. Evident heads like J-Live and Phill Most Chill. Artists around the world who went through the elements.
Which musicians, post-'85, have best preserved the traditions, the ethics, the elements, of hip-hop with their music, their words, actions, imagery, etc.?
