I want to eventually be able to photograph events, especially live music. Taking photos like these reminds me of why.

I enjoyed going to Provence last year. The lavender fields are really worth it.

Finally got one

Those are all at sunrise in different places. And that’s my camera before my lens got jacked.

Mind you, when I sit outside to shoot a sunrise or sunset it’s several hours, and probably a thousand shots. Every time I find something different that I like.

When I took my first photography class my instructor asked us what we wanted to shoot. I said sunrises and sunsets and he immediately said that’s the most difficult thing to shoot….but I have been doing it for years. Because I like it.

Today’s excursion focused on composition. It was also super humid before the rain set in.

I love how this came out.
