Had a great time at my first ever Other Cinema screening a couple weeks back, watching a selection of shorts from the Canadian Film Farm with some of the directors in attendance. Recommending Kim Knowles' book on photochemical practices which talks about their operation in depth.

In the middle of Sean Baker's Anora, taking a break, and realizing that Baker has made the indie earnesty, the only redeeming factor of any films from his catalog, a false running trope as he parades similar objectifying stunts with continually grander budgets. RIP Florida Project iPhone footage
