Tristan has a very subtle hint in this ep that I honestly wouldn't have picked up on if Max hadn't done the same in ep one. In this conversation about his decision to try and get over Avery, he specifically uses the gender neutral "person" and "someone" instead of "woman". #DoctorOdyssey

Another Avery hint. She's so real for this too because like why WOULDN'T this woman want to ask her to dance, they're both beautiful #DoctorOdyssey

Note the gender inclusive language Max uses here, even though they're treating a male patient injured during penetrative sex with a woman: "the receiving party", "*they* pull out too far, *they* sit back down and miss". This right after the scene with Tristan? Definitely deliberate. #DoctorOdyssey

Notice how Max extends the offer "we could watch each other's backs" but Tristan shoots him down citing the "guy to girl ratio" on the ship? Max is stoic and silent while Tristan assumes he was looking for a wingman, but that is not the vibe Max was giving lol #DoctorOdyssey
