I'm on the "train" leg of my west coast plane -> car -> ranch -> car -> apartment -> train -> train -> bus -> parents -> car -> plane -> home trip. I'll be exhausted, but I've missed this kind of travel.

Just finished watching season 2, episode 2 of The Last of Us. Not sure I can watch more. Or, you know, ever watch anything again.

I logged into Former Twitter to find the name of an old contact & had to dig through my tweet history. It made me sad to have left it behind. I looked for ways to transfer that history to Bluesky but there's no way to do it that preserves timestamps and doesn't spam everyone. Gotta just let it go.

I'm out on a hike with K, but I messed up my leg playing soccer a couple months ago and I still need to baby it. So I've settled down here with my tiny backpacking chair while she continues off into the woods. I'm just going to enjoy the beautiful view, my book, and the quiet.

Finished two Cory Doctorow books in 48 hours. Really enjoying Martin Hench. Makes me want to switch to unix again, and also, you know, dismantle corporate dominance of our institutions.
