2024 favs starring The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez.
A wholly encompassing story entangled in another story. Told in the shifting perspectives of traditional oral narration. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking, walking the thin lines between seemingly opposing actions and feelings. 💙📚
