Let's face it. Organized religion has duped people from the beginning of time. Name any war that wasn't in the name of some religion. Can we really say Jews are the "chosen"? Or Catholics. Or indigenous people. Polynesians. Baptists. Muslims. The reality has been religion has bludgeoned us to comply

I’m looking at the smoke filled sky over Denver as over ten fires rage in my beloved Colorado mountains. Every year is a repeat of climate crisis here. We need only open our eyes and our senses to know what the future holds. And we allow the deniers to have power over the future of our kids??

Once again MSM is missing huge stories because they are obsessed with Epstein. Just this last week the EPA declared greenhouse gases are not harmful to humans and revealed the plan to make those homeless and with mental illness subject to involuntary detention. Both will have much greater impact

Seems like the biggest story of the day is being missed in the hysteria of Jeffrey Epstein. The Idiot’s EPA has declared greenhouse gases aren’t harmful to humans opening the door for more fossil fuel production, coal mining and other polluters. This is a death sentence for future generations

It’s always amazing and one of life’s true miracles to put a small, sometimes even tiny, seed in the soil and watch it become a seedling, then a plant that forms buds and vines, then a flowering plant that produces fruit like beans, cucumbers or tomatoes. And finally a harvest from that small seed

Used to hike 14teeners all the time but it occurred to me 13,000 foot mountains were just as nice. I don’t measure anymore.

After a few hours on any social media nowadays I have to deactivate my account for a day or so to keep the despair from overwhelming me. There is still life going on outside of MAGA and Agent Orange. There are still mountains to hike and lakes to see. Still sunsets that are as glorious as ever.

The dems and GOP are failures in representative democracy. They refuse to reform campaign finance because they know the old guard will be replaced. Look at the ages and wealth of congress. Look at the years of gridlock. Look at abysmal voter turnout. Leaving democracy in the hands of the corrupt
