I’m not sure but since gamma entrainment works through sight, sound , breath work etc it seems like it’s the fundamental rhythm. Keeping time .

Direct current . My unit has that plus an alternating current that you can tune to specific frequencies. I use 40 hz everyday . Lots of dementia research ongoing using it .
