The color contrast is really bad sometimes… and I’m worried about all the animations going on around every menu bar, icon and window. Not just for battery life. People might get seizures

Right now, the challenge we are trying to solve collectively in frontend is just not so much weighing on the questions Solidjs is trying to answer. It’s much more about build speed, infrastructure, and maybe versatility because that’s where the usecases are

probably just a timing thing … the industry was already committed elsewhere and the benefits of transitioning don’t outweigh the cost and risks

Look at npm trends and you’ll know why. If you’re building touchpoints at scale and are not using react right now, you’ll need your solution to have a comparable amount of existing devs using it. SolidJS is great because no one has used it to the point of discovering it’s flaws
