even right now, i am just ranting into the void because most of my followers are just my friends who barely touch this app, because their feeds show them basically nothing, and its so much of a hassle to get a feed that is actually enjoyable to look at.

and it leaves a negative taste to the people who most want to get away from the trashheap that is twitter, since they need to rebuild their following, but to do that they need to relearn a new social media that does absolutely nothing to help them reach the people who want to see their content.

but given the way bluesky works, instead of that i get "well, we cant do what you asked, but you can subscribe to a feed that will show you every post that says the word 'pokemon.' and thats good enough right?" no. it isnt. that just makes it so im flooded with peoples random nothing skeets.

just, i liked the old twitter algorithm, that would occasionally show you tweets from accounts you dont follow, based on the tweets from the accounts you do follow. when i follow pokemon based accounts, i'd like to randomly be shown fanart, and projects, from different and new pokemon accounts.
