Yesterday evening I visited the 'Christmas at the Botanics' event once again at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and saw how different the various lights and artworks were.
I stopped off at the café/souvenir shop at halfway and treated myself to a lovely pistachio hot chocolate 😋 very tasty.

I've had my windows and frames replaced over the past year, so I've got different shapes to work with.

Sunday 2nd November was a nice Bonfire and Fireworks Night at Burntisland in Fife ☺️🔥🎇
It was a nice change of location, having been to displays elsewhere in Musselburgh and Bridge of Allan in recent years.

On Saturday 18th October, I travelled on the Paddle Steamer Waverley for the second time in 2025.
This time our sailing route was Glasgow-Arrochar-Glasgow, via Kilcreggan, Dunoon & Loch Long.
It was pretty cold with a strong breeze out on the water. However, it was a lovely day out once again ☺️

I completed my latest artwork yesterday called Ringing In The Ears - I've had bad tinnitus and muffled hearing in my right ear for a few weeks now and have just been referred by my doctor to Audiology because it's simply not going away.
Hopefully my picture conveys the frustration of it all 😑

Saturday 20th September was Stirling Pride Day: a full circle moment for me as it was at Stirling Uni in the '90s that I first initially realised that I was gay.
I'd like to thank all the organisers on the committee for making this the best Pride event experience I've ever had ☺️💜🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🙏🏻

Two nights ago, I wandered over to the pond at Inverleith Park here in Edinburgh, via the Water of Leith Walkway and Dean Village, in need of some walking steps and getting away from life stresses.

I made this piece because I feel that I'm at one of life's pinch points and heavily inspired to make it quite plain that I'm an empath person.
I chose the colours of the heart balloon to reflect this.
