When I was a resident in Chicago I lived a couple blocks from the lake and somehow managed to be working nights every single year when it was the air and water show and lemme tell you, it’s hard to sleep during the day with jets screaming overhead. It’s also a bummer to never be able to watch!

Spending the last few days binging on ice cream to feel better and I guess I need to hit the point where subsequent weight gain makes me feel bad enough that it makes me stop bc it feels worse than the rest of it.

I’d just like to thank BCBS-MI for reassuring me that Zepbound would continue to be covered in 2025 under my exorbitantly overpriced insurance, only to completely renege when I tried to refill in January, and when I asked why they had refused to refill they were like 🤷🏻♀️ meh too bad. Shame on BCBS-MI.

Is there a new rule saying you shouldn’t respond when a friend sends you a care package in the mail? Because my return address info is on there and tracking says it’s been delivered for several days - but nothing. And it’s kind of… feeling-crappy making.

If I didn’t know better, I’d swear that google maps gets a distinct pleasure from telling me to get in the far right lane of the 275/696/96/5 interchange then at the last minute wants me to get over 4 lanes into the far left lane and just -

I still haven’t fully accepted that Rutgers is part of the upper Midwestern Big Ten, so to see Oregon in the Big Ten championship game is quite the double take
