Re: fluentassertions, it’s fine that it is now commercial. No grievances with that. But I think we should normalise not wanting or not prodding others to reach for a third party library for every little whim.

It’s so easy to fall into premature optimisation. Just noticed we have fixated on a particular performance issue in an edge case only to add extra work for all cases.

I’m looking at the Mac Mini and, upgrade costs aside, I’m stuck on whether I actually want a laptop and should my desktop just be some absolute beast instead

Event sourcing is bugging me more than usual. I’m working on a feature and the projections feel a lot like duplicating the aggregate. On top of that there’s never any consensus on how to deal with tricky situations.
